Goat Boy

One of my fellow students was kind enough to give some of us a night away from campus. She has some land outside of town where she raises alpacas, goats and sheep for the wool. It was great fun - we ate pizza, had a glass of wine and fed the animals. What more could we ask for? Oh, air conditioning, that's what. It was fucking hot. By time I left I had to stand next to a goat to mask my odor.

Oh how wonderful for her! :o)

You may not know this.. but then again, you might.. but I am hopelessly "into" knitting, and yarn.. wool..

And I've always thought it would be nice to have a good sized chunk of land, to raise some sheep and so on... and then get to spin my own wool..

and....

/sigh "wouldn't it be luvverly!!"

but the real question is...did the goat back away when you tried to stand next to it and did it plug its nose?

;)

It looks like very hard work to me! But I'll hook you two up if you want. She lives just over the Pennsylvania line in York county.

The goat passed out.

Once upon a time I dreamed of running away to Morocco to be a goat herder.
I like your polite shout out to the goats!

Samantha:

Well, goats are friendly and quite useful. They mow the grass, eat your trash, give you wool and milk, and in a pinch, they taste pretty good barbecued.

Who wouldn't want a goat?

Tildy:

You've just gotten to Morocco and you already let your goat et up a tree? Wow? How did you ever take care of kids?

Get it? Kids? This boy has no, I say NO, sense of humor!

Lynn:

THey really are, especially since they were recently sheared, but they never shear their heads, so they are left with an emo 'do.
